Iranian journal of engineering geology is a scientific-research publication belonging to the Society of Engineering Geology and Environment of Iran. The permission of this journal was issued in Persian and English in 2012.The aim of the Engineering Geology Journal is to publish the fundamental and applied articles in the fields related to engineering geology, environmental engineering, engineering characteristics of rock and soil materials, seismic hazards, in-situ tests and subsurface explorations, engineering geology of civil projects, geomechanics of hydrocarbon reservoirs. Currently, the Journal of Engineering Geology is published quarterly and in addition to research articles it publishes case studies in the form of research notes.
